I'm talking about big sky weekends, a simple hand-thrown white ceramic bowl and a grill-press packed in the car trunk -- essential components for a seaside road trip in search of fresh-caught appetizers, eaten in the cool ocean air on a hotel room porch. Voila! Foodie glamping.
TIPS: Ask for a remote room location with a patio or small deck. Don't forget to pack a high wattage extension cord, olive oil, lemons, pocket knife, salt and pepper. The remainder is at your own risk (pleasure.)
